Ancient History Encyclopedia is a non-profit community website that uses definitions, timelines, maps, illustrations, and articles to present ancient history in a very accessible way.The aim of this site is to promote ancient history and to make it freely accessible for everybody. The website was built, and is contributed to, by an educated community of dedicated volunteers and every article and definition, as well as image and book review, is peer-reviewed for quality and accuracy of information. I am a regular contibutor to the site, a peer reviewer, and editor. I also serve on the Board of Directors and am honored to have been one of the co-founders. I have taught sections of College Writing I & II, Literature courses, Intro to History and Intro to Philosophy as well as World Views and Values courses for the Marist College Humanities Department. I also work in the Marist College Writing Center helping students with their papers.
