Roman is a prizewinner of the second (municipal) round of the All-Russian School Olympiad in the English and German Languages, a prizewinner of the third (regional) round of the All-Russian English Language School Olympiad. He is the Chair of the children’s jury at the municipal round of the “Teacher of the Year – 2009” contest. He dreams of becoming a diplomat and representing Russia in international organizations.
He is keen on foreign languages and has an excellent command of the English and German languages; he likes history and social sciences, keeps track of the latest political developments in Russia and worldwide, shows interest in the geopolitics of Russia within the system of international relations, goes in for basketball and boxing.
"Tolerance does not simply imply recognition of the existence of a person different from you. Tolerance implies the possibility for this “different” person to feel comfortable in any community. Therefore, the presence of any political group that advocates hatred of minorities as well as national, ethnic, religious or other type of exclusiveness cannot be tolerated".
