I think it’s very important to teach tolerance and tolerant behavior. From my perspective, the root of this problem is ignorance. People are afraid of what they don’t understand and begin to hate what they are afraid of. Therefore, starting at an early age, it’s important to give people as much information as possible about different peoples, including their culture and traditions. There are already some attempts to do this. For example, in Novgorod the ethnic creative group “Sadko” holds regular festivals. Of course, it’s necessary to tell people more about those who live close by, but are different from them. Then fear and hate will gradually disappear.
