I consider that one’s character is formed in childhood when values are instilled, which will be important throughout one’s life. Therefore, children should be taught to carefully think about the future from a very young age. They should be educated about this, but not lectured to. This type of learning should not be tedious, but given very careful consideration so that it encourages youngsters to think about and remember what they’ve learned. It will help if the teacher uses a variety of techniques which incorporates humor into the lesson. When children smile it helps them to better remember. But the most important point is for adults to set a good example. If their actions contradict what they’ve said, then nothing is gained.
