A Video of the Russian Junior 8 Summit Delegation

On May 10, during a trip to the city center of Petersburg, each of the members of the Russian Junior 8 Summit delegation was filmed in a video which will be shown on Russian TV and on foreign TV channels.

Each of the young delegates shared their goals, plans, and hopes related to the upcoming summit and also gave their solution to the problems that are to be discussed at the 2007 Junior 8 Summit.

On the same day, Dimitry Dubovskikh and Olga Peshekhonova were featured in a video for TV channels in the Leningrad Oblast. Anna Filippova, Maxim Usinin, and Gleb Nikitin met with journalists from a Petersburg youth magazine.

The teens tried to carefully follow the advice given to them on Monday concerning working with the mass media and, in general, were pleased with the results of their experience.

Margarita Potekhina said, “It wasn’t very difficult, but very cold. However, the main thing was to watch how journalists work. I think maybe I’ll become a journalist.”

“We quickly felt at ease in the studio and it was very comfortable to talk to the program host,” added Dimitry and Olga.

The video of the Russian delegation should be ready by May 21.
